About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead – IT Operations professional to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of IT systems, automation, and end user experience. You will be responsible for building and scaling internal IT operations, automating lifecycle workflows (e.g., onboarding/offboarding), managing IT/SaaS assets, and driving adoption through training and usage analytics.

What would you do / key responsibilities

  • Own and evolve internal IT operations, including automation of user lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, transitions, access and identity managemnt ).
  • Manage and maintain asset inventories (laptops, peripherals, software licenses, etc.).
  • Implement and automate SaaS and endpoint management workflows across departments.
  • Build automation scripts and tools using Python, Shell, or similar to streamline repetitive IT tasks.
  • Partner with HR, Security, and Engineering to ensure seamless identity/access management and provisioning.
  • Monitor and improve SaaS usage through analytics and optimization strategies.
  • Develop and deliver internal IT enablement, documentation, and training sessions for end-users.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards around access, data handling, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues spanning systems, network, and software.

Required Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of progressive experience in IT operations, systems administration, or related roles.
  • Proven & strong experience with automation platforms and lifecycle management (e.g., Workflows, JumpCloud, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of SaaS and asset management (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Zenadmin, Intune, or equivalent).
  • Experience building internal dashboards and usage analytics for tool adoption and optimization.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and training skills for cross-functional enablement.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset, with an eye for process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to basic scripting/programming skills in Python, Shell, or Bash.
  • Exposure to identity and access management (IAM) best practices.
  • Experience in a fast-growing tech or SaaS environment.
  • Knowledge of security practices for endpoint and SaaS management.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and frameworks (Jira Service Management preferred).
