Sr Sales Compensation Analyst

As the Commissions Analyst, your primary responsibility is the calculation of commissions using our SCM platform. The ideal candidate is analytical, deadline driven, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask. You will work closely with Deal Desk, Rev Ops, Finance, Accounting, Sales, and HR leaders to identify and resolve issues, as well as play a key role in providing analysis on sales performance that will assist in the development of the sales commission plans.

What You will Be Doing

    • Management of the Xactly Incent commission tool and to ensure calculations of compensation plans and payments are accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policy.
    • Develop, maintain, and update systems and processes critical to the reporting and tracking of compensation metrics (Xactly, Namely, Salesforce)
    • Partner with Human Resources and Sales Operations to supervise changes in sales employee data for new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and retroactive changes
    • Develop and assist with maintaining written process documents needed to handle all compensation-related processes.
    • Identify improvement opportunities for assigned work stream and work with key collaborators to enable implementation change.
    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of all commission plans across the organization and communicate calculations and rationale.
    • Be discrete and handle confidential information/data around personnel and legal matters
    • Provide explanation and clarification and respond to any questions that may arise regarding commission calculations.

What you Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative field of study, Finance or Business Analysis is required or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
    • 2-3 years of experience as a Commissions Analyst or similar experience
    • Experience in Xactly, Varicent or other similar commissions tools (Required)
    • Experience using Namely and Salesforce.com (Preferred)
    • Communicate effectively and previous experience working in coordination with staff at all levels of the organization, including internal and cross-departmental teams.
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team to meet objectives.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint, and the use of sales data reporting tools.
    • Problem-solving abilities - Ability to anticipate and be proactive on potential issues 
    • High level attention to detail and accuracy
