For our business partner in the Energy & Electric industry, we are looking for the Senior R&D EMC/EMI Engineer in Power Electronics. You will be part of a dynamic, cross-functional team developing a breakthrough modular converter platform based on wide bandgap semiconductors (e.g., SiC). Our team is at the forefront of developing efficient solutions for integrating renewables, providing energy storage, improving power quality, and enabling green transportation & eMobility solutions. You will contribute to the design and development process, from concept generation and simulation to circuit design, prototyping, and validation of new products. Your role will involve solving technical challenges related to EMC/EMI, ensuring signal and power integrity, and working in collaboration with global R&D teams.

Reporting to the Technology Manager, and You will work in a creative environment where your knowledge and skills will drive the development of innovative solutions that support a carbon-neutral future.

Requirements

  • Participate in the converter design process from concept to product verification.
  • Utilize expertise in the Radio Frequency domain to ensure signal and power integrity of new designs.
  • Solve technical challenges related to EMC/EMI and design Common Mode (CM) & Differential Mode (DM) filters.
  • Apply knowledge of magnetic components physics and interpret simulation and measurement results.
  • Utilize design tools such as circuit and FEM simulations to support development.
  • Contribute to the rapid iteration of design processes within a dedicated cross-functional team.
  • Use fast prototyping and lab mockups to accelerate learning and achieve results quickly.
  • Build and maintain measurement test setups to verify performance, efficiency, and robustness of designs.
  • Work in modern laboratories, testing prototypes, and pushing design limits.

    YOU NEED
    • BSc/MSc/PhD degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience in RF electronics, high-speed semiconductor circuits, power electronic converters, and passive filters.
    • Familiarity with simulation tools such as Spice, SIMetrix, Simulink, PLECS, or AnSys.
    • Strong understanding of signal theory for electronic applications.
    • Experience with the specification, selection, and qualification of power devices, PCB circuits, and passive components.
    • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment for measurements and testing.
    • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to workplace safety guidelines.
    • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn new technologies.
    • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
    • Fluency in written and spoken English, as this role is part of a global business environment.
