Role:

    • The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all activities to successfully onboard participants onto Manifest MedEx (MX).  The Senior Project Manager is also responsible for coordinating all activities to successfully implement projects in support of MX’s strategic initiatives. This includes engaging end users and technical staff from participant organizations in helping them understand the value of our services and their data contribution requirements, establishing secure communications with the participant, getting the required transaction content from the participant’s technical team and/or vendor, validating that data, and facilitating secure access to the MX APIs.  
    • The position also functions as a leader assisting in escalations and resource assignments, and ensuring the team is collaborating effectively with other departments.

Specific Duties Include:

    • Serve as the ambassador of MX with prospective and signed participants.
    • Perform the necessary planning, data gathering, and integration testing activities to set up connectivity and conduct data transfer between the participant, and/or vendor and MX.
    • Drive all project activities to ensure requirements and schedules are met to achieve MX overall business goals.

Project Manage strategic and integration projects by:

    • Planning and execution: Define project scope, objectives, requirements, budget, and timeline.
    • Manage stakeholders: Work with clients, users, developers, testers, and vendors.
    • Monitor progress: Track project progress and set deadlines.
    • Issue resolution: Identify and manage resolution for project issues.
    • Manage scope: Manage and track changes to project scope.
    • Manage risks: Manage identified financial, legal, strategic, and security risks.
    • Communicate status: Report on progress and status updates.
    • Ensure quality: Ensure quality standards are met by ensuring relevant testing and quality assurance is completed for all projects.
    • Documentation: Document work performed on project activities and track in Jira, Salesforce, and applicable system(s). Documentation should include onboarding, monitoring processes, and transition to Support (if applicable). 

Additionally:

    • Design and implement project documentation and collaboration processes.
    • Serve as a coach and mentor to other team members.
    • Act as an escalation point for the team when requested by the QA and PM Manager.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
    • 5+ years in health information technology project-related activities, dealing with strategic projects, EHRs, HL7/CCD messages, and/or administrative (eligibility, claims) data.
    • Working understanding of HIPAA regulations and Health Information Exchange (HIE) concepts.
    • Experience with Salesforce and Atlassian Jira.
    • Experience interacting with hospital IT teams, vendors, project managers, end users, and leadership across business, technical and clinical functions.
    • Customer-first attitude and high-performance driven individual.
    • Strong attention to detail with project and process management skillset and experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. 
    • Ability to build and maintain respectful, productive internal and external relationships, which are professional, encourage collaboration, ensure accountability, and allow the achievement of mutual objectives and strategies.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $135k - $150k + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
