Position

King Energy is seeking motivated, talented sales professionals to place solar and battery storage programs at commercial and industrial properties.

The goal of the sales process is to sign leases with commercial property owners, allowing for the deployment of on-site solar and storage programs.

This position will be responsible for pursuing new relationships with property owners in Massachusetts.

King Energy is a remote-first workplace. Candidates for this position should be located near, and have previous experience selling in, the target Massachusetts territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Originate and develop distributed solar and energy storage projects with commercial property ownership firms, typically targeting property owners, asset managers, heads of ESG or Chief Operating Officers.
  • Negotiate long-term leases with commercial and industrial counterparties.
  • Effectively communicate with project stakeholders and community members to facilitate project permitting and utility approvals.
  • Manage strategy for lead identifications and prioritization in target territory, and coordinate with sales operations and lead research teams.
  • Develop relationships with industry partners to facilitate business development.
  • Create sales presentations and proposals to support development efforts.
  • Attend relevant industry tradeshows to generate leads and build out industry relationships.
  • Consistently meet company targets for quantity and size of leases signed, measured on a quarterly basis.
