Outside Sales Specialist - Southern Florida Territory

What You’ll Do

  • Own Your Territory: Take a progressive sales approach to manage and grow accounts across Southern Florida.
  • Promote Excellence: Represent our full range of precision gaging, capital equipment, calibration, inspection, and repair services.
  • Build Relationships: Prospect, engage, and convert opportunities into new business, utilizing a consultative sales approach.
  • Maximize Revenue: Generate new sales from existing accounts while upselling and cross-selling to expand client relationships.
  • Plan Strategically: Develop and execute an annual territory sales plan in collaboration with the VP of Sales and business managers.
  • Stay Organized: Manage your sales pipeline and forecast effectively using CRM tools.
  • Travel with Purpose: Spend significant time traveling within the territory, with occasional overnight stays to meet client needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in an industrial environment with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • Understanding of capital equipment, manufacturing, and engineering processes (experience in precision metrology is a plus!).
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a results-driven attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).

What We Offer

  • Base Salary: Around $60,000 + aggressive commission structure.
    • First Year Potential Total Compensation: $80,000–$85,000.
    • Second Year Potential: $100,000–$120,000 with hard work and growth.
    • Third Year Potential: $150,000+ as you establish the territory.
