In this role you will serve as an HR Business Partner, working closely with the larger HR team and business leaders to develop effective human capital solutions. You will contribute to company-wide HR and workforce level initiatives. This role is involved with all aspects of the talent management cycle inclusive of talent planning, attraction, performance management, development and retention. You will also collaborate with your leaders to uphold our company policies and procedures.
Accountabilities:
o Partners with leaders to align their business objectives with HR practices that help them achieve these objectives. HR initiatives include employee engagement, change management, leadership development, retention and general organizational development.
o Partner with organizational leadership to support and drive cyclical talent processes including annual compensation planning, talent calibration, and succession planning.
o Provides counsel and coaching to leaders to help ensure fair and consistent application of people practices such as talent identification, performance management, compensation, and development.
o Serves as the subject matter expert on Costa Rica employment law to ensure organizational compliance and support business objectives.
o Ensures compliance with all country, federal, state and local HR laws across multiple global locations and works to resolve employee issues.
o Partner with Costa Rica employee base to provide general guidance and consultation on a variety of HR operational matters. Interprets and educates employees on Code of Conduct, HR policies, and provides counseling on such policies as necessary.
Essential Criteria:
o 2+ Years Human Resource Business Partner experience.
o Demonstrated understanding of Costa Rica HR practices, policies and laws required, additional knowledge of US laws preferred.
o Strong business, analytics and HR acumen including critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
o Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
o Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
o Collaborate with HR Leaders to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
o Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
