This leader will streamline partner and developer engagement, strengthen Flock’s market position, and unlock new revenue streams through automation and innovation. Core priorities include improving reporting, refining deal registration and channel management, simplifying developer interactions, and driving operational projects across M&A integrations. Additional responsibilities include enhancing revenue reporting, automating rebate and reseller payments & audits, and creating self-service workflows that enable developers to integrate with Flock’s API policies with minimal support. Here are your main responsibilities:

  • Architect Partner Systems: Build and scale foundational systems, including Partner Relationship Management (PRM) tools and automated deal registration processes.

  • Simplify Developer and Partner Engagement: Collaborate with Product leadership to create scalable partner programs, self-service workflows for onboarding, API access, and program participation with minimal support.

  • Spearhead Partner Impact Reporting: Develop robust dashboards and MBRs for partner revenue, deal pipeline, API usage, and ecosystem health.

  • Automate Financial Operations: Implement automated rebate processing, reseller payments, and auditing workflows to improve accuracy and scalability.

  • Assist with Corporate Development Initiatives: Support the VP of Corporate Development by evaluating Build vs. Partner recommendations and planning M&A integration projects.

  • Optimize Channel Management: Refine partner tiering, incentives, and deal management processes to streamline collaboration and improve partner performance.

  • Ensure Compliance and Governance: Enforce API policies, revenue-share agreements, and operational standards across all partners.

  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Finance to deliver seamless partner experiences.

  • Spearhead Marketplace Development: Lead the design and launch of the Flock Safety Marketplace to expand partner offerings and drive new revenue streams.

The Skillset

  • Strategic and Operational Acumen. Proven ability to translate corporate strategy into operational plans that drive M&A, partnerships, and organic growth initiatives.

  • Financial and Analytical Expertise. Deep experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence across business functions; strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow dynamics.

  • Process Design and Optimization. Skilled at designing, implementing, and scaling repeatable processes for deal evaluation, diligence, approvals, and post-merger integration.

  • Cross-functional Program Leadership. Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional projects involving finance, legal, HR, IT, product, and commercial teams.

  • Systems and Tools Proficiency. Hands-on experience with M&A and corporate development tools such as DealCloud, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Asana, or equivalent; ERP and CRM system integration experience is a plus.

  • Risk Management and Decision Support. Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate operational and integration risks during deal evaluation and execution phases.

  • Executive Communication and Influence. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop board-level materials and influence senior stakeholders across the organization.

Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box? That’s okay; we’ve felt that way too. Studies have shown women and minorities are less likely to apply unless they meet all qualifications. We encourage you to break the status quo and apply to roles that would make you excited to come to work every day.

90 Days at Flock

We are a results-oriented culture and believe job descriptions are a thing of the past. We prescribe to 90 day plans and believe that good days, lead to good weeks, which lead to good months. This serves as a preview of the 90 day plan you will receive if you were to be hired in this role at Flock Safety.

The First 30 Days

  • Ramp up on Flock’s current partner programs, developer engagement models, APIs, and existing operational workflows.

  • Conduct a gap analysis of partner systems, reporting, channel management, deal registration, and marketplace plans.

  • Establish strong working relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Legal.

  • Identify and recommend the top short-term priorities for system improvements, automation needs, and marketplace development.

The First 60 Days

  • Begin evaluating PRM requirements that indicate Flock’s needs for deal management, reporting, and partner enablement.

  • Expand understanding of Flock’s evolving partner network, developer ecosystem trends, and API usage patterns.

  • Define a phased approach for launching the Flock web-based Marketplace, including early framework for developer onboarding and listing processes.

  • Formalize operational rhythms with Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Legal to support partner and marketplace initiatives.

90 Days & Beyond

  • Partners and developers engage through clear, intuitive workflows with minimal internal friction. Flock’s partner and developer ecosystem begins operating like a scalable platform, not a bespoke service.

  • Core partner operations -  including deal registration, partner tracking, reporting, and enablement - are systematized, either through enhancements to existing CRM infrastructure or through the deployment of a lightweight PRM solution if justified.

  • The Flock web-based Marketplace's initial version is planned with a small, opted-in group of partners awaiting onboarding. A defined listing and support process is in place, and early developer adoption indicators are being monitored.

  • Formal operating rhythms are in place across Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to align on partner initiatives, API policies, and marketplace expansion. Stakeholder ownership for partner success is embedded into existing team processes.
