Digital Communications Manager (US Remote)

The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing our digital communications strategy to ensure a strong online presence, engage target audiences, and drive measurable results. 

This role will primarily focus on the LeanTaaS website, ensuring its continuous optimization, personalization, and performance enhancement. Additional responsibilities include managing digital content, supporting SEO/SEM strategies, analyzing website performance, and overseeing digital compliance and security. 

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, tech-savvy professional with a passion for leveraging digital platforms to amplify an organization’s message and impact. This role reports to the Director of Communications. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Oversee website content, architecture, and functionality to ensure a seamless, engaging user experience that drives lead generation and funnel conversion.
    • Own website-related KPIs: ACV/ARR attribution, engagement scores, conversion metrics, traffic & SEO metrics, technical performance metrics, and security-related metrics.
    • Implement personalization strategies to curate digital content for different personas using Generative AI-driven recommendations and behavioral targeting.
    • Continuously test and refine website structure, navigation, and landing pages using heatmaps and A/B testing tools to improve content engagement, user experience, and conversion rates.
    • Use keyword research and SEO best practices—on-page, off-page, and technical—to drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance website performance (page speed, mobile responsiveness).
    • Ensure seamless integration of website forms and tools with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce).
    • Plan, develop, and manage digital content across the LeanTaaS website and Transform event microsite, collaborating with designers and multimedia specialists to enhance engagement while aligning with audience needs and business priorities.
    • Partner with internal teams to support SEM (paid search) and retargeting strategies.
    • Design and execute email marketing campaigns with Demand Generation to drive conversions, tracking deliverability, open rates, and CTR.
    • Generate data-driven reports with actionable insights to refine digital strategies, content, and campaigns in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
    • Monitor and address cybersecurity risks in collaboration with IT teams, ensuring website security best practices are followed.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in digital communications, website management, or digital marketing.
    • Generative AI adopter. Understands the changing landscape and is driving the adoption of new techstack in a B2B (or B2C) SaaS environment. Comfortable with AI content tools (GPT-4, Gemini, etc.) and translating complex ideas for targeted audience.
    • Strategic and transformative thinker with a results-driven mindset and passion for analytics.
    • First principle based learner. A growth hacker mentality.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
    • Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress, PathFactory), website personalization tools, and analytics platforms like Google Analytics 4, HotJar, SEMrush, Looker, etc.
    • Expertise in SEO, SEM, and digital advertising best practices.
    • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and website testing tools.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

    • Healthcare IT or SaaS experience.
    • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
    • Experience with Elementor and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for troubleshooting and web updates.
    • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM integrations.
    • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Experience with website compliance, security, and digital privacy best practices.
    • West Coast Remote (San Francisco Bay Area a plus).

$90,000 - $120,000 a year
LeanTaaS takes a market-based approach to pay. The offered base salary will reflect careful consideration of a number of factors, including the level you are hired into, your location, skills and qualifications, prior relevant experience, internal equity, and market conditions. This range may be modified in the future.
