Job Summary:

The Nextech Marketing team is seeking a Project Manager to assist in planning and executing our operational and creative marketing strategies. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who loves the process with a curiosity to learn more. You possess excellent communication and time management skills, have a vigilance for meeting deadlines, are adept at anticipating problems and recognizing opportunities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
 
You will be fully embedded in our creative and delivery processes – from concept to launch – developing clear and detailed digital project plans and managing all assigned projects. With the guidance of senior marketing team members, you will gain hands-on experience by preparing timelines, resource allocations, and project estimates, facilitating project status meetings and updates, and assisting with management, quality assurance, and delivery of all final deliverables
  
This role reports to the Director of Marketing Technology and Operations and is fully remote anywhere in the United States

Essential Functions

    • Manage overall execution of marketing projects from planning through implementation
    • Audit and optimize project management tool (Monday.com) – cleanup, new templates, automation, etc.
    • Serve as main point of contact for the broader marketing team so that actions remain in synergy, delegate project tasks to best fit team members as necessary
    • Meet deadlines by establishing clear targets for milestones and creating both short-term and long-term plans.
    • Modify project targets and schedules in alignment with changing schedules, resources, and budgets
    • Make informed and effective decisions regarding a project's next steps when presented with multiple options
    • Ensure maintenance of standards on projects by performing quality control (proofreading, testing, etc.)
    • Collaborate with key stake holders and marketing department leads to keep projects aligned with goals, proactively communicate blockers and project risks
    • Complete other marketing-related tasks as assigned by the marketing team

Minimum Requirements

    • 2+ years in marketing project management, traffic management, program management, or similar role
    • Experience using project management tools and software such as Monday.com, Asana, Basecamp, or similar
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
    • A passion for organizing and managing project details and deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Basic understanding of marketing principles and techniques
    • Analytical mindset with the capacity to quickly learn and process information

Preferred Qualifications

    • Expert-level experience using project management tools and software (Monday.com preferred)

Working Environment/Physical Demands

    • Remote
    • Long-distance or air travel as needed – not to exceed 20% travel
    • Activities require a significant amount of work in front of a computer monitor.
    • (Add any other physical requirements of the job such as lifting equipment or speaking on the phone regularly).
