The Role

Legend is hiring a Content Editor, reporting directly to our Content Manager - Gaming. This role will support our North American content team to launch and optimise high-quality iGaming websites in the market. You’ll be working across an exciting portfolio of Gaming brands in our global portfolio.

What You'll Do:

    • Create new and optimise existing content to make it engaging for our US Gaming audiences using your editing, proofreading and publishing skills
    • Coaching and nurturing a successful team by Managing external writers to ensure deadlines are being met and content is to a high standard.
    • Producing optimised content that engages our audiences and meets SEO best practices, using tools like Ahrefs, SemRush and SurferSEO to recommend ways we can optimise our content.
    • Use your skills and keen eye to suggest new, innovative ways of engaging our Gaming audience and expanding our reach in the market.
    • Work as part of a high-performing team and set personal development goals to continually grow your own skill set.
    • Collaborate with other teams in the company, including Country Managers, Product, UX Design, and Engineering.
    • This role will develop into a People Manager role and oversee a core team of editors and oversee the delivery of content for our NA brands.

What You'll Bring:

    • Proven experience in Content Editor role for English speaking markets, ideally within the Gaming Industry and USA or North America markets. Responsible for editing and opitmising web content. 
    • Experience managing people within a team, or a network of freelancers
    • Solid writing and proofing skills in English content, as well as an unrivalled eye for detail.
    • Hands-on experience with SEO from a previous role and experience using metrics to monitor/validate content success.
    • A “can do” attitude that thrives when working to deadlines in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

The Interview Process:

    • Join Legend, where interviews are a two-way exploration of fit. Here's what you can expect from our hiring process:

    • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
    • 2nd: Interview with our team, Managing Editor and Content Editor (1 hour video via Zoom)
    • 3rd: Take home task - you will be given 3 days to complete the task
    • 4th: Final interview with our team, Head of Content and Content Manger (1 hour video via Zoom)
