About the Role

As a WordPress Developer, you will play a pivotal role in creating, customizing, and maintaining high-performance WordPress sites that align with our organization’s goals. Your technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills will enable you to build custom themes and plugins, deliver engaging landing pages under tight deadlines, and ensure adherence to WordPress best practices for security, accessibility, and SEO. Collaborating closely with engineering and other stakeholders, you will translate requirements into seamless, impactful web experiences. The WordPress Developer will uphold a standard of excellence in all projects, fostering a user-friendly, scalable, and maintainable digital presence for our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress sites with a focus on performance and scalability.

  • Build custom themes and plugins using PHP, JavaScript, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).

  • Design and deliver 12+ landing pages within tight deadlines (e.g., four days).

  • Implement WordPress best practices, including site security, accessibility, and SEO.

  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into exceptional web experiences.

  • Leverage WPBakery for page-building needs while ensuring clean, maintainable code.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience working with WordPress.

  • Expertise in Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), PHP, and JavaScript.

  • Strong understanding of WordPress best practices, including security, performance, and user experience.

  • Proven experience with WPBakery and ACF creating impactful, professional WordPress sites.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with a history of successfully collaborating in a team environment.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing past WordPress projects and landing pages.

  • $90,000 - $110,000, depending on experience
