Webinar Facilitator (Temporary/Part-time)

About The Role:

We are seeking applications for the role of a part-time Webinar Facilitator, hosting various kinds of Zoom sessions for our virtual programs.

This is a part-time position, with a variable weekly schedule which can range from 5-15 hours per week. Facilitators can expect available hours to ramp up gradually after hire/onboarding. Most available shifts run between 2-7 hours, generally occurring during business hours in the ET time zone. There is some flexibility in how facilitators manage their weekly schedule, with the expectation that they generally maintain a minimum of approximately 5-8 hours per week. This role can be done remotely - with two requirements: facilitators must have a high-speed internet connection, and facilitators must work from a US-based location in the contiguous 48 states.

Responsibilities:

  • Begin the Zoom session, load presentations and ensure all participants’ equipment (computers and headsets) are fully functional.
  • Fulfill the “Host” role for the webinar by managing the presentations, passing the presenter’s role, and timekeeping of presentations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical, scheduling, and content issues in real time.
  • Maintain great communication with co-workers while in live sessions and with the VentureWell team regarding scheduling.
  • May assist with other administrative duties related to the program.

What You Bring:

  • 1 year of webinar facilitation or administrative/customer service experience preferred
  • Proficiency required with online video conference tools such as Zoom, MS Office, and Google apps
  • High degree of digital fluency using cloud-based office tools such as GSuite, CRMs, team collaboration tools, and other web-based applications; ability to incorporate these tools into day-to-day work
  • Excellent administrative, organization, and project coordination skills
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit
  • Must remain calm under pressure and be readily able to problem-solve in the moment
