What you’ll do: 

The VP, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Optimization & Strategy leads initiatives to enhance clients’ mid-revenue processes using the company’s technology solutions. Reporting to the Chief Customer & Transformation Officer, this executive role will be a strategic leader responsible for driving innovation, efficiency, and scalability across the revenue cycle functions of our healthcare SaaS platform. This role is critical to delivering value to provider clients through data-driven process optimization, automation, and strategic roadmap development. The VP will lead cross-functional initiatives that improve operational performance, client outcomes, and internal product alignment in the rapidly evolving healthcare technology landscape.

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Define and lead the strategic vision for end-to-end RCM optimization across client organizations using our SaaS platform.

  • Serve as a thought leader on emerging RCM trends, healthcare regulations, and automation technologies to inform product strategy and client delivery.

  • Collaborate with the executive team to align revenue cycle strategy with overall company goals.

Client & Operational Optimization

  • Partner with client success, implementation, and product teams to ensure best practices in revenue cycle workflows and outcomes.

  • Develop tailored optimization strategies that reduce denials, accelerate reimbursement, and improve KPIs across the claims lifecycle.

  • Guide clients through change management and adoption of SaaS-based RCM innovations.

Product Collaboration

  • Work closely with product and engineering to provide insights that shape product development and enhancements.

  • Act as the voice of the RCM customer in roadmap planning and usability feedback.

Data-Driven Performance Management

  • Leverage analytics and benchmarking tools to identify performance gaps and prioritize opportunities for automation, AI, and workflow improvement.

  • Establish dashboards, reporting tools, and KPIs to monitor client and internal RCM performance.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of RCM strategists, analysts, and optimization consultants.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.

Success measures in this role include:

  • Drive measurable improvements in client adoption and satisfaction metrics, turning underperforming accounts into strong client references.

  • Successfully lead and mentor the practice team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

  • Build and execute a strategic roadmap for Iodine’s healthcare practice, positioning the company as a market leader in mid-revenue cycle optimization.

  • Actively contribute to thought leadership through industry engagements and published content.

  • Ensure seamless integration of acquired businesses into Iodine’s operations.

What we’d love to see: 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree (MBA, MHA) preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategy role.

  • Strong understanding of provider-side RCM operations, payer rules, coding, billing, collections, and compliance.

  • Experience in SaaS, digital health, or healthcare technology environments is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in leading RCM transformations or optimization programs at scale.

  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements, industry events, company events and new hire orientation onboarding.
