Video Editor Part-Time

As a Video Editor and Production Specialist, you will play a vital role in crafting compelling visual and audio content that amplifies the client's brand message. You will be responsible for producing one long-form video and audio podcast episode per week, along with creating 4-5 short-form videos tailored to various social media platforms like TikTok and YouTube. Your work will be integral in showcasing our commitment to community impact, transparency, and excellence. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Podcast Production: Edit and produce one long-form video and audio podcast episode per week, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with brand standards. 
  • Short-Form Video Creation: Produce 4-5 short videos per week, each tailored to the specific requirements of platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. 
  • Content Optimization: Adapt and optimize content for each platform, ensuring maximum engagement and reach. 
  • Audio Editing: Enhance audio quality for all video and podcast content, including noise reduction, equalization, and mastering. 
  • Visual Effects & Graphics: Incorporate visual effects, transitions, and graphics to enhance the overall production quality. 
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain consistency in visual style, tone, and messaging across all video content, reflecting the client's values and mission. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, marketers, and other team members to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. 
  • File Management: Organize and manage all media files, ensuring they are properly archived and easily accessible. 
  • Platform-Specific Editing: Stay updated on best practices and trends for each social media platform to ensure content is current and effective. 
  • Feedback Implementation: Actively seek and incorporate feedback to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of video content. 

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven expertise in video editing and production, particularly with podcast content and social media platforms. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and audio editing tools (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity). 
  • Creative Vision: Strong creative and artistic abilities with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of the technical requirements and audience expectations for platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. 
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Benefits

  • Salary: $6-$8 per hour
  • Shift: 20 hours per week in Pacific Standard Time Zone
  • Remote: Fully work-from-home position
