Athena7 is one of four battalions fighting threat actors on the front lines of the global cyber war. As part of The World’s First Civilian Cybersecurity Force, Athena7 specializes in resistance hardening, IT security assessments, strategy and remediation to ensure an organization's defenses are prepared to effectively resist and rapidly recover from a cyberattack.

About This Position
We are searching for a Vice President of Advisory to join our Athena7 team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of advisory services including assessments and ongoing resiliency advisory and remediation as part of our Securitas Summa program.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and grow the advisory team improving efficiency and scalability while maintaining the deep technical outputs and white glove customer experience.
    • Support the rapidly growing Securitas Summa product offering with long-term advisory support embedded into client teams’ including roadmap, risk registry, and implementation of remediation roadmaps to enhance resiliency and recoverability.
    • Expand the current advisory capabilities 
    • Optimize and refine process for data collection, interviews, and final presentations
    • Build capability to assess against a constantly moving target (we update assessments as fast as we see threat actors updating tactics)
    • Continually help mature and evolve templates for new assessment readouts and ongoing advisory
    • Help build infrastructure and platform for assessment team to deliver quality while scaling
    • Ensure assessment process maintains authenticity (we assess against breach context not compliance frameworks) and technical depth
    • Own the end-to-end delivery of advisory globally including US, EMEA, and APAC.
    • Work closely with the other Fenix24 battalions to create seamless client experiences incorporating advisory and remediation as part of other packages and services.
    • Support and scale existing channel partnerships with insurance carriers, breach counselors, forensics companies, private equity funds, and other industry associations
    • Leverage technical assessments to also help scope and qualify customers for hands-on work
    • Other duties as required. 

Qualifications, Requirements & Preferred Skills:

    • At least 5 - 10 years of senior leadership experience within an IT assessments and/or consulting practice including managing team members, enhancing processes
    • At least 10 - 15 years of work in IT centric areas whether assessments, infrastructure, incident response, remediation, hands on IT work, or advisory.   While not required, some experience working in and/or managing traditional IT teams would be an advantage.
    • Experience operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment helping to mature processes, launch new services, and develop new operating models
    • Excellent analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, including strong relationship building skills and leadership capabilities. 
    • Ability to form relationships across all levels of the company while modeling Fenix24’s Culture and Values.
    • Senior executive experience, as the VP of Advisory will be part of the executive leadership team.
