About the role

We’re looking for a Tech Recruiter to join us during an exciting chapter of growth at Comun. This is a contract role (part-time or full-time) with flexibility based on your availability.

You’ll be at the heart of our talent engine, helping us scale our engineering and tech teams with top-tier people who are just as passionate about impact as they are about innovation.

If you love the fast pace of early-stage startups, have a solid network in tech, and get energized by building diverse teams with purpose, this one’s for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner closely with the founding engineering team and Head of People to define role requirements and sourcing strategies

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and closing candidates

  • Build a strong pipeline of diverse, qualified candidates

  • Provide a top-notch candidate experience and represent our mission and culture

  • Contribute to employer branding and process improvements as we scale

  • Bring creative ideas to the table to innovate in tech recruiting and engage top talent across the industry

You are:

  • An experienced recruiter who understands what it takes to build top-tier startup teams

  • Hands-on, resourceful, proactive, and able to manage multiple roles at once

  • Passionate about inclusive hiring and mission-driven work

  • A strong communicator who can represent our values and culture with authenticity

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote setup

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience recruiting for U.S.-based tech startups

  • Proven success hiring for technical roles (Software Engineers, Product Managers, etc.)

  • Experience working in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

  • Familiarity with modern sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems

  • Fintech hiring experience is a strong plus

  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)

  • Preferably based in NYC or Mexico City, not required
