Job Description:  
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Release Admin with a deep understanding of Salesforce DevOps, particularly with Copado. As a part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations of our Salesforce environments, leveraging best practices in DevOps. 

Basic Requirements:

    • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.  
    • Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.  
    • Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.  
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a salesforce admin, with a strong focus on DevOps. 

Additional Qualifications: 

    • Salesforce admin and advanced admin certifications. 
    • Proven expertise in using Copado or a similar tool for Salesforce CI/CD pipeline setup and management. Copado Fundamentals certifications highly preferred. 
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, environment management, and deployment methodologies. 
    • Proficient in tools related to Salesforce DevOps, including version control, data migration, and metadata management. 
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. 
    • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach. 

Responsibilities: 

    • Administer and maintain Salesforce environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user accessibility. 
    • Extensively work with Copado to set up, configure, and manage deployment pipelines for Salesforce. 
    • Collaborate with the development team daily to ensure smooth deployments and releases. 
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, merge conflicts, and environment synchronization. 
    • Lead and guide best practices around Salesforce DevOps, ensuring adherence to industry standards. 
    • Leverage Copado to automate repetitive tasks, streamlining processes and reducing manual effort (e.g., Copado Data Deploy, Copado Robotic Testing). 
    • Regularly review and clean metadata in Salesforce environments. 
    • Keep track of the latest Salesforce updates and features, ensuring our environment leverages the best and latest functionalities. 
    • Assist in training and guiding other team members on best practices related to Salesforce deployments.

Public Trust Clearance:
This role requires the hired candidate to go through public trust clearance. A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is required to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship. 
 
Work Location:
We have open-collaboration offices in Leesburg, VA, Arlington, VA, and Baltimore, MD for those who may prefer to work on-site. However, Softrams, a Tria Federal Company, is a 100% remote-first team environment and works in the eastern time zone. Standard work hours are 9am ET to 5pm ET with flexibility around start and end times based on team needs.
