Our client is a dynamic and innovative social media agency, specializing in providing top-tier social media marketing services to a wide range of clients. They are looking to expand their team with a Social Media Coordinator who will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media schedules, and interacting with their vibrant online community. The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, and passionate about social media marketing.

Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST
Role Overview:
The Social Media Coordinator will play a key role in executing the social media strategy, posting content, and maintaining the content calendar across various platforms. The candidate will need to have experience with creating short-form video content, working with social media automation tools, and engaging with online communities. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires autonomy, a creative eye, and a strong understanding of social media marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and post content across multiple social media platforms
Execute organic social strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and X
Maintain and update content calendars to ensure consistent posting
Write engaging, platform-optimized copy for posts, stories, and Reels
Use video editing tools (CapCut or others) to create engaging short-form clips
Collaborate closely with our graphic designer and step in with Canva when needed
Stay plugged into current social trends, algorithm updates (like recent IG changes), trending audio, formats, memes, and cultural moments
Use Trello (or similar tools) to stay organized and communicate with the team
Work on multiple client accounts, each with its own unique voice, audience, and strategy
Coordinate with the strategist, designer, and project manager to ensure flawless execution
Monitor and engage with followers by responding to comments and direct messages (DMs)
Must Have:
1-2 years of experience in social media marketing or content creation
Strong platform knowledge and trend awareness (IG, TikTok, FB, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X)
Confident video editor for short-form content (Reels/TikTok)
Killer copywriting skills with sharp attention to voice, tone, and engagement
Ability to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT for content ideation, copy drafting, and campaign planning, including knowing how to prompt and train AI to match different brand voices
Highly organized, dependable, and able to self-manage in a remote setting
Comfortable juggling multiple accounts and shifting brand personalities
Familiar with tools like CapCut, Canva, Trello
Nice to Have:
Experience with social media automation tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later)
Experience with Canva or similar graphic design tools for creating social media assets
Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking
Previous experience in community management or customer engagement on social
