Zencore is a fast-growing company founded by former Google Cloud leaders, architects, and engineers. We are seeking candidates with significant experience in Google Cloud to join our team. Our engagements aim to eliminate obstacles, reduce risk, and accelerate timelines for customers transitioning to Google and seeking assistance with data and application modernization. We embed within customer teams to provide strategic guidance, facilitate technology decisions, and execute projects in a collaborative, co-development style.
As a Senior Software Engineer within our Cloud Engineering team, you will work with fast-paced, innovative companies that are leveraging cloud as a key driver of their transformation. You’ll be embedded within customer teams, acting as a trusted advisor—someone they can rely on to guide them along their journey on Google Cloud.
You’ll collaborate on the design and development of complex cloud-native systems and services, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and occasionally AWS. Your role will focus on software engineering—this is not a DevOps position. You’ll build and deliver production-grade applications and microservices using Kubernetes, applying modern development practices with Python, Go, or similar languages.
You’ll be expected to engage across a broad spectrum of cloud-native topics, from infrastructure as code to application modernization, serverless platforms, CI/CD, cloud networking, and data systems. Our core toolbox often includes Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and the HashiCorp suite, but we remain flexible—choosing the right tools based on client needs and first-principles thinking.
We are eager to have you onboard and learn from the innovative approaches you've used to solve tough problems.
This role is remote, open to candidates based in Europe.
