A bit about the role:

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Community Lead Program to lead and support our international team of Community Leads for a groundbreaking live AI social app. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully managed ambassador programs, driven engagement through live-streaming campaigns, and built thriving online communities.

As the Senior Manager, you will oversee the execution of community engagement initiatives, ensure our Community Leads deliver an exceptional user experience, and drive strategic growth in user success and retention. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping our ambassador program, enhancing livestream events, and fostering an inclusive and exciting social environment. You will work closely with our Head of Social to create UGC campaigns for Community Leads, ensuring alignment with brand initiatives and user engagement goals

A bit about the work:

  • Lead and Manage: Oversee a mid-size international team of 20 Community Leads, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure engagement and retention goals are met.

  • Ambassador Program Management: Develop and execute strategies for the Community Lead ambassador program, optimizing recruitment, training, and ongoing engagement.

  • Live Streaming Strategy & Execution: Design and implement ongoing livestream campaigns to build community, increase user success, and promote platform growth.

  • Community Engagement & Growth: Develop initiatives to attract and retain users, drive community events, and increase user-generated content.

  • Operational Oversight: Ensure Community Leads are effectively moderating, engaging, and promoting the app during live rooms, chat sessions, and social media interactions.

  • Feedback & Insights: Collect and analyze user and Community Lead feedback to inform improvements in community strategies, app features, and overall engagement.

  • Brand Advocacy: Collaborate with marketing teams to amplify brand presence through social media, partnerships, and influencer collaboration.

  • Deliverables & Reporting: Establish weekly deliverables for the Community Leads, track progress, and report key metrics to leadership.

A bit about you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • 3+ years managing ambassador or community engagement programs, preferably in a digital or social tech environment.

  • Proven experience running ongoing livestream campaigns and community-driven social media initiatives.

  • Exceptional ability to mentor, inspire, and guide a remote team while fostering an inclusive and positive community environment.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing and product teams.

  • Comfortable with on-camera hosting, moderating live events, and creating engaging digital content.

  • Skilled at analyzing engagement metrics and user feedback to optimize community-building strategies.

  • Experience with experimental content or unorthodox campaigns that break the mold.

Location:

This is a hybrid role, based in either Los Angeles or San Francisco, as a majority of the Community Team is based in those cities. Cantina, Inc. currently has offices located in San Francisco, CA, Sunnyvale, CA, and Brooklyn, NY.  

Pay Equity: 

In compliance with Pay Transparency Laws, the salary range for this role ranges from $125,000 - $150,000. When determining salary rate, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, and location.
