About the Role

Ramp is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist, based in New York, to join our IT Operations team. This role will support all IT aspects in our NYC HQ, including onboarding, triaging support requests, assisting with AV conference rooms/Event Space, troubleshooting network issues, and managing our inventory. Unblocking our users is an absolutely critical component of our IT team and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in running a smooth operation and in all the work to make it happen!

What You’ll Do

  • Provide in-person support at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Sq Park) 5 days/week and remote support for our Miami/San Francisco office. (May require travel based on business needs)

  • Serve as a point of escalation for the IT Operations team on SaaS-related issues and participate in an on-call rotation

  • Take ownership of small and large projects, working with various internal/external teams to accomplish goals

  • Create and update technical documentation and user facing documentation where applicable

  • Be an advocate for our users, understand their challenges, and look to remove bottlenecks

  • Maintain and enhance the WiFi and networking infrastructure across Ramp offices

  • Conduct new hire IT orientations covering best practices and services used within Ramp

What You Need 

  • Minimum 3 years of technical experience in an enterprise size organization 

  • Strong knowledge in our core tech stack including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, MDM, Notion, and various modern SaaS tools

  • Experience working with SSO technology including SAML for secure authentication and access management

  • Strong attention to detail and execution oriented 

  • Understanding of User Lifecycle Management, managing user/role access

  • Experience with general networking knowledge

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in high growth startups

  • Experience managing Meraki office networks

  • Experience managing macOS/Windows

  • Okta Certified Professional
