At Brisk Teaching, we aim to lighten the workload for teachers with AI powered tools that take care of administrative tasks so that teachers can spend more time doing what they love - teaching. Brisk is an AI-powered Chrome extension that simplifies teaching by integrating seamlessly with tools teachers already use like Google Classroom, Docs, Slides, YouTube, and articles. In seconds, teachers can create instructional materials, provide feedback, and evaluate student work - right from where they're already working.
We are a diverse group of technologists, educators, and parents, all united by a passion to improve the lives of educators. With over a decade of collective teaching experience and roles at leading education technology companies like the Chan Zuckerberg Institute, Seesaw Learning, PBS Kids, Clever, NoRedInk, Panorama Education, GoGuardian, and Edulastic, we deeply understand what educators need.
Brisk is looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to co-own and build our field marketing strategy from the ground up. You’ll partner with another field marketer to ensure Brisk makes a bold, unforgettable impact at events and conferences across the country. Together, you’ll develop the strategy, make key trade-offs, and execute high-impact event experiences that drive real results.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on role. You won’t just be planning from behind the scenes - you’ll be at the booth, setting it up, giving product demos, and running the show. You’ll ensure everything flows seamlessly, from restocking materials and tracking lead capture to briefing booth staff and managing schedules. You’re proactive and make things happen before anyone even has to ask.
This is a role for a fast-moving, creative, resourceful, and execution-focused leader who thrives in high-growth startup environments. If you love the adrenaline of live events, know how to balance big-picture strategy with flawless execution, and take pride in owning every detail, this is for you.
Co-Own and Execute Brisk’s Field Marketing Strategy: Split responsibilities with our other Field Marketing Manager to maximize Brisk’s presence, drive engagement, and ensure flawless execution across multiple events.
Develop the Conference & Events Roadmap: Identify and prioritize the most valuable conferences, making smart trade-offs between large industry events and smaller, high-impact opportunities to maximize Brisk’s reach and ROI.
Own Execution from Start to Finish: Book booths, negotiate contracts, manage budgets, coordinate logistics, and proactively oversee every detail of on-the-ground execution.
Create Scaled Programming: Expand Brisk’s reach by developing initiatives that empower teachers to represent Brisk at conferences, ensuring an authentic, community-driven presence.
Give Live Product Demos: As the face of Brisk at conferences, you’ll engage with educators, deliver compelling demos, and ensure every attendee walks away excited about Brisk.
Be Unapologetically Creative: Stand out in a crowded EdTech market by designing buzzworthy experiences, activations, and viral moments that make Brisk unforgettable.
Travel & Represent Brisk: Hit the road for 10+ key conferences and 20+ smaller events annually, ensuring our presence is strategic, impactful, and memorable.
5+ Years of Experience: Field marketing, events, partnerships, or related roles in a high-growth venture-backed startup.
Conference & Booth Design Experience: You’ve designed at least 5 memorable, high-impact conference booths from end to end, including activations, live experiences, real-time engagements, and seamless run-of-show execution to ensure your company stood out.
Scrappy Startup Mentality & Bias for Action: You thrive and have worked in fast-moving, high-growth venture-backed startup environments. You make quick, smart decisions and don’t get bogged down in unnecessary processes. You move fast and figure things out, sometimes with incomplete data. You know how to stretch a budget to maximize impact.
Strategic Thinker: You have owned conference strategy and have built a cohesive conference roadmap that maximizes budget and impact for multiple conferences at a time.
Relationship Builder: You’ve successfully built connections with educators, industry leaders, and conference organizers
Data-Driven & Results-Focused: You have tracked and analyzed event impact, from lead generation and engagement to post-event follow-up. You know how to measure success and set optimization goals for future events.
