Senior Director - Enterprise Sales

Who We Are:

At Emburse, you’ll not just imagine the future – you’ll build it. As a leader in travel and expense solutions, we are creating a future where technology drives business value and inspires extraordinary results.

We’re looking for a Senior Director of Enterprise Sales to help lead the next phase of growth for our enterprise segment. This is a strategic and high-impact role focused on building scalable sales frameworks, optimizing go-to-market processes, removing friction, and enabling our team to thrive. While the role may not include direct reports initially, it will be instrumental in shaping structure, coaching team members, and accelerating revenue across enterprise accounts.

What You Will Do:

    • Architect the Future of Enterprise Sales: Define and implement sales strategy, structure, and operational rhythm. Bring clarity, consistency, and scalability to the enterprise sales motion.
    • Drive Sales Enablement: Equip Account Executives and frontline managers with the messaging, tools, and insights needed to close complex deals. Act as a go-to resource and coach for enterprise pursuits.
    • Optimize Processes: Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in pipeline generation, deal velocity, and team collaboration. Lead change efforts to drive efficiency and impact.
    • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, and Implementation teams to align on ICP targeting, GTM strategies, and successful onboarding of new customers.
    • Strategic Deal Support: Provide executive-level support on key deals, engage directly with prospects and customers, and represent Emburse in enterprise sales conversations.
    • Talent & Team Building: Support hiring, onboarding, and development of enterprise sales talent. Help foster a high-performance, collaborative culture across the sales organization.
    • Forecasting and Reporting: Ensure accurate pipeline management and forecasting using Salesforce (SFDC) and contribute to regular business reviews.

What You Will Bring

    • 10–15 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, with a strong track record in both quota-carrying and leadership or enablement roles
    • Success building or optimizing sales processes, supporting team growth, and driving operational excellence
    • Experience working with mid-to-large enterprise customers in complex sales cycles, ideally in T&E, ERP, or adjacent SaaS markets
    • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills
    • Executive presence and confidence in navigating C-suite conversations
    • Highly organized, data-driven, and committed to continuous improvement
