Job Description
Help shape the future of medical technology: In this role, you will take responsibility for the development of innovative products such as tubing sets – from the initial idea all the way to transfer into production.
Working within an interdisciplinary team, you will actively drive the adoption of new technologies.
- You develop and optimize joining and manufacturing processes, plan and conduct experiments, and document your results in compliance with standards.
- From concept to production, you actively shape the development process and contribute fresh ideas to drive innovation.
- You design components and manufacturing processes for biological and medical consumables and support their implementation in production.
- You stay curious, keep up to date with new technologies, and share your knowledge within the team.
- In close collaboration with engineers, biologists, chemists, and the engineering and production departments, you ensure smooth documentation and execution.
Qualifications
- You hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, plastics technology, joining technology, or a comparable field.
- Ideally, you have knowledge of joining techniques such as adhesive bonding or welding of plastic components—or you have gained relevant hands-on experience during your studies.
- In an agile work environment, you thrive as a proactive and positive team player. You're driven by innovation, take initiative, and work independently. As a passionate developer, you have a strong hands-on mentality and enjoy solving complex challenges on your own responsibility.
- Basic knowledge of biology and proficiency in CAD tools are a plus.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, are required.
