What you'll do
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at our company, you will be instrumental in shaping the foundation of our backend infrastructure. You'll play a critical role in building a scalable, resilient, and high-performing platform that supports our innovative product offerings and delivers an exceptional experience to our users.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a robust, scalable backend platform that integrates seamlessly with our frontend systems and aligns with business requirements.
- Lead the development of reusable libraries and APIs that standardize backend functionality and simplify integration with other systems and services.
- Work closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to ensure backend architecture aligns with the overall product vision and user experience goals.
- Optimize backend systems for performance, focusing on enhancing speed, efficiency, and reliability across various operating environments.
- Stay abreast of emerging backend technologies and industry best practices, incorporating them into our platform to maintain technological leadership.
- Regularly evaluate and refactor backend systems to improve maintainability, scalability, and performance.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of backend architecture and guide the development team in following best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with a strong focus on platform and infrastructure roles.
- Deep expertise in backend technologies such as Go, MongoDB and RESTful API development.
- Familiarity with backend build pipelines and continuous integration/deployment processes (GitHub Actions).
- Experience in managing state in distributed systems and understanding of microservices architecture.
- Proficient in backend testing frameworks and knowledge of system testing best practices.
- Solid grasp of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL, and data modeling for scalability and performance.
- Proven problem-solving skills, leadership ability, and attention to detail.

- A portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing backend architectural expertise and contributions to middleware, APIs, or server-side applications.
- Fluent in English.
