Company Description
The Senior AV Support Analyst leads our Audio Visual and Conference Room Technology Team. This team provides technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for AV and conference room technologies for the Abercrombie & Fitch Global Home Office. This role ensures smooth operations of AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and events, maintaining high service levels and user satisfaction. In addition the leader is responsible for maintaining long term technology roadmaps & strategies, building relationships with internal and external partners, and managing the procurement for all related equipment.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Meeting and Event Production delivery: Coordinate with stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality, technology-rich events based on their requirements.
- Coordinating and offering technical support for meetings, including video switching, playback, camera operation, staging, audio mixing, streaming, and PowerPoint. Hire and oversee AV crew and vendors. Review budgets and invoices. Collaborate with Facilities for efficient meeting support.
- Managing Conference Room AV Support: Ensures all audio-visual equipment in A&F GHO conference rooms function correctly and addresses AV support issues. Collaborates with AV support vendors to schedule repairs. Assists associates in using technology in conference rooms and meeting centers. Utilizes a ticketing system to track operational problems with equipment and facilities; cleans and maintains equipment.
- Conference Room Technology: Design, program, and support the installation of Microsoft Teams Rooms Systems. Build roadmaps, and lifecycle plans based on new and emerging technologies to ensure our infrastructure meets the needs of our teams.
- Managing Global Digital Signage: Including Satellite TV, LCD and DvLED, Digital Signage and Event Based DvLED and LCD Video Configurations. Works in conjunction with facilities to ensure hardware and software are in proper working order.
- Managing Global Audio Systems: Including large scale distributed, live event, and office systems.
What Do You Need To Bring?
- 5+ years of experience with audio visual technology, preferably in a corporate environment
- 2+ years of experience leading a team
- Strong knowledge of video conferencing equipment, including cameras, microphones, and control systems. Previous working experience using Crestron and Yealink hardware a plus.
- Professional experience using Microsoft Teams Live events or a similar platform.
- Audio System Processor control experience (Rane Halogen, Symetrix Composter and SymVue)
- Experience with audio visual equipment, including projectors, screens, and sound systems
- Video system switching, extension, and control system experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Clear, creative, organized, and dedicated working style
- Ability to lift and move equipment, as needed
- Availability to work flexible hours, including off core business hours or off site as required
