We're searching for a Senior Android Developer who brings expertise in modern Android development, hands-on experience with cutting-edge architecture patterns, and a deep understanding of CI/CD and deployment best practices.

🚀 What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin 1.9, Coroutines, and Flow, following clean, scalable architectural patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.

Build UI features using Jetpack Compose, including Material 3 components, Navigation, and Maps integration.

Manage state and lifecycle with ViewModel and LiveData.

Implement offline-first features using Room for local persistence and DataStore to replace legacy SharedPreferences.
-
Handle background tasks reliably with WorkManager.
-
Maintain backward compatibility using View Binding for legacy XML-based layouts.
-
Implement logging using tools like Timber and Logback (for circular logging and diagnostics).

Contribute to and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI—including unit/UI testing, code quality scanning, and multi-app deployments with environment-based configurations.

Containerize local dev environments and CI runners using Docker.

Participate in Play Store staged rollouts, ensuring safe and progressive deployment strategies.

Collaborate with iOS and backend teams for feature parity and cross-platform consistency.
🧠What You’ll Bring

6+ years of hands-on Android development experience using Kotlin (and optionally Java).

Strong knowledge of Jetpack libraries, Room, DataStore, ViewModel, and Compose.

Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, and using Docker in development environments.

Solid understanding of AGP 8.x, Gradle Wrapper, and preferably Kotlin DSL.

Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Robolectric) and Play Store release processes.

A proactive mindset and a passion for writing clean, testable, and modular code.
