Role Description: We are looking for a leader and sales strategy expert to head our sales team of five Leasing Consultants. The ideal candidate should be an excellent salesperson, with a high level of energy and motivational expertise. The candidate should have experience mentoring other salespeople in sales strategies, including providing direct examples of successful approaches, monitoring performance, and giving feedback. 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing team of 5 Leasing Consultants (LCs)
    • Monitoring sales messaging and activity in our sales software 
    • Motivating team to reach quotas 
    • Providing feedback and review of individual team members 
    • Measuring performance metrics of team members 
  • Implementation of sales strategy best practices 
    • Creation of sales strategy materials, examples, and guides 
    • Support and enforce of implementation of correct sales approaches in team 
    • Leading through example - selling directly in our sales software to show team correct approach 
  • Reporting sales performance to leadership 
    • Reporting overall team metrics, progress toward goals 
    • Reporting individual team member performance
  • Ensuring team harmony and morale 
    • Creation and implementation of team-building events and exercises 
    • Keeping team morale high 
    • Avoiding and resolving team disagreements

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of remote sales experience with complex sales processes (real estate preferred but not required).
  • Ability to execute and teach a high-touch, personalized sales approach. 
  • Experience leading/mentoring other salespeople is highly preferred. 
  • Proactive and organized: able to deal with ambiguity and succeed with little direction 
  • Flexible schedule, willing to work some weekends and evenings.
  • Emotional intelligence, high positive energy, and a strong work ethic.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. 
  • Experience with hiring remote team members preferred
