About The Role …
As the Sales and Marketing Operations Specialist, you’ll be the heartbeat of our commercial team and culture. You will play a critical role in supporting sales, marketing and the executive team across pipeline and forecasting management, reporting, team coordination, and CRM utilization and training. This position requires strong organizational skills, a passion for sales efficiency and a track record in managing and optimizing HubSpot. You will work closely with sales, marketing, executives and partner functions like customer success to streamline processes and support our overall sales and lead generation strategy.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Sales process optimization: Refine and standardize sales operations and processes, ensuring they are efficient and effective. Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance productivity.
- Sales pipeline support: Assist with sales requirements and pipeline activities throughout the deal lifecycle, focusing on data accuracy, team efficiency, and conversion.
- HubSpot and sales system management: Oversee HubSpot CRM and other key sales systems, Develop and implement best practices for HubSpot usage, data hygiene, and data management. Provide training and support to sales team members on core HubSpot functions and updates. - Pipeline reporting & forecasting: Build, manage, and distribute reports and dashboards to improve pipeline and forecast accuracy, provide win/loss insights, and identify opportunities for efficiency or increased conversion.
- Sales playbook custodian: Own and manage the sales playbook to ensure that all of the essential information and processes are readily available.
- Marketing lead support: Manage lead capture efforts at industry events and webinars, partner with Marketing on event-related prospecting, and ensure all event leads are promptly entered into HubSpot and actioned by the sales team.
- Marketing event support: Assist with planning and logistics for tradeshow booths, ensuring successful coordination and setup.
About You …
You are a super organized, energized person who gets a buzz out of keeping sales teams on track, while supporting marketing initiatives along the way.
You are friendly and assertive in nature, a self starter and enjoy working with a range of different personalities. In addition, the following experience is required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing (or an associated discipline)
- Demonstrated experience in sales revenue support (ideally within a SaaS company)
- Solid experience with Hubspot’s features and functionality particularly in managing operational tasks and workflows
- Experience with sales pipeline management and reporting
- Exposure to lead generation, prospecting techniques and event lead capture
