The Sage Intacct Industry Lead for Family Office is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Intacct implementations tailored to the unique needs of family offices. This role ensures that projects are executed on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with high-net-worth client expectations. Family offices often demand multi-entity consolidations, intercompany accounting, investment portfolio tracking, and bespoke reporting – and this role requires both strategic insight and hands-on expertise in those areas. As a senior leader, the Industry Lead serves as the trusted advisor for clients and the primary coach for team members delivering in this niche space.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead delivery of complex Sage Intacct implementations designed for family offices with diverse needs, such as trust accounting, entity roll-ups, philanthropic tracking, and alternative investment reporting.
    • Oversee discovery, solution design, and configuration of Intacct modules to support family office-specific use cases like expense allocations across entities, aggregated reporting, and performance measurement.
    • Serve as senior consultant or solution architect on engagements requiring custom investment subledger integrations or bespoke financial statement packages.
    • Perform quality assurance reviews of project deliverables with a lens on accuracy, sensitivity, and confidentiality requirements typical of family office clients.
    • Maintain 40–60% billable utilization to stay grounded in client work while leading and mentoring the vertical team.
    • Design and refine IP assets such as standardized reporting templates (e.g., consolidated balance sheet by family branch), automated allocation journals, and fund transfer workflows.
    • Develop a library of best practices covering investment entity management, foundation accounting, and intergenerational wealth tracking.
    • Build and maintain a knowledge base of family office-specific tools, third-party applications (e.g., Addepar, Black Diamond), and reporting frameworks.
    • Support sales by acting as a subject matter expert in conversations involving privacy, generational stewardship, and non-traditional asset management.
    • Collaborate with GTM to craft compelling value propositions for single and multi-family offices, and to customize demo environments that reflect client family structures.
    • Author industry content relevant to wealth management trends, tax-aware reporting strategies, and family governance models.
    • Attend and speak at family office forums, wealth summits, and industry roundtables to raise firm visibility.
    • Mentor and upskill consultants on family office dynamics, including discretion, high-touch service expectations, and white-glove support models.
    • Advise on vertical hiring needs, help onboard new team members, and ensure alignment with firmwide delivery and success teams.
    • Establish OKRs and strategic growth plans for the family office practice in collaboration with firm leadership.
    • Drive roadmap input based on evolving demands such as ESG reporting, digital assets, and increasing compliance complexity.

Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of ERP or financial systems consulting experience, with expertise in Sage Intacct or a comparable platform.
    • Hands-on experience with family office operations, including private equity tracking, trust and estate accounting, multi-entity consolidations, and high-net-worth individual (HNWI) reporting.
    • Strong understanding of the family office client mindset – including expectations around confidentiality, service quality, and multi-generational planning.
    • Proven track record of delivering and architecting ERP systems for family offices, foundations, or wealth management firms.
    • Experience building reusable industry assets such as reporting frameworks, allocation templates, or custom dashboards.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with executives and family principals.
    • Ability to balance client delivery with vertical leadership, team coaching, and go-to-market collaboration.
    • Familiarity with the broader family office ecosystem, including third-party software providers, custodians, and investment platforms.
$150 - $187,500 a year
