Regional Vice President, Sales (West Coast)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Vice President to lead our West Coast team of sales leaders and Account Executives. This role is responsible for selling into mid-market marketing agencies and advertisers across the West Coast. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Christian Gerron, you will grow and mentor a team of 30+ new and existing StackAdapters to help them hit ambitious targets and meet their career ambitions. You must have a deep understanding of the West Coast digital advertising market, the programmatic landscape, and strong existing customer relationships across the region. The leader of this team will work closely with marketing, product and solutions teams, enablement, rev ops and many others to ensure that we are delivering the right solutions to our customers. 

Stackadapt is a Remote First Company, and will evaluate candidates located in the western region of the United States. 

What you'll be doing:

    • Leadership and Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team dedicated to selling programmatic advertising solutions across all verticals. Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, promoting StackAdapt’s core value of "We Win Together."
    • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to engage agencies and brands directly. Collaborate with product, operations, and marketing teams to align with our go-to-market strategy and identify growth opportunities.
    • Client Engagement: Lead by example in pitching our platform to potential clients, both agency and brand direct.Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, supporting and guiding your team in securing campaigns and expanding key accounts through in-person and virtual interactions.
    • Sales Enablement and Performance Improvement: Utilize sales enablement tools and analytics to derive actionable insights that enhance team performance and drive regional revenue growth. Develop enablement programs to train high-performing sellers and ensure strong sales management practices.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including product development, operations, marketing, and finance, to streamline processes and provide valuable feedback.Participate in regional activations, including conferences, client events, webinars, and paid media engagements to build the StackAdapt brand.

What you’ll bring to the table:

    • Deep expertise in the programmatic advertising industry and familiarity with leading programmatic platforms.
    • Strong relationships with existing clients across the western region,  and proven capability of selling into agencies and brands directly
    • Proven capability of leading large teams, building a strong sales management team, developing enablement programs to train high performance sellers, and building a healthy and vibrant culture
    • Strong operational excellence around sales pipeline, territory planning, using data and analytics to drive actionable plans, strong business review rhythms, people operations review, etc
    • Success stories in helping to influence and contribute to product and solution roadmaps that drive value for customers
    • Proven track record of owning and exceeding annual sales targets
    • Proven ability to lead teams through transitions, effectively managing resistance and fostering buy-in to drive sales performance and organizational growth
