We are seeking a QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance process for BidMachine, ensuring the reliability, stability, and performance of our ad network. This is a strategic role requiring deep expertise in testing complex, high-load systems, automation, and ad tech environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA strategy for BidMachine, ensuring high-quality delivery of features and infrastructure updates.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual testing frameworks for RTB components, APIs, and SDK integrations.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to enhance test coverage and automation.
• Define and maintain quality metrics, ensuring system scalability, reliability, and security.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working with teams to resolve them efficiently.
• Optimize test processes for high-throughput, real-time transactions in ad bidding environments.
• Conduct performance, stress, and load testing to validate system resilience under peak conditions.
• Lead a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship, best practices, and process improvements.
• Stay updated on emerging testing methodologies, AdTech trends, and automation technologies.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in a lead or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of real-time bidding (RTB), ad exchanges, ad mediation, and programmatic advertising.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Expertise in performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, k6, or others.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or Java) for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and cloud-based testing environments.
• Familiarity with ad tech protocols such as OpenRTB, VAST, Prebid, or Header Bidding is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience testing mobile SDKs (iOS/Android) for ad mediation platforms.
• Understanding of data pipelines and analytics for monitoring ad performance.
• ISTQB certification or similar QA credentials.
