QA Automation Engineer
To assist with the development and maintenance of features supporting the company's long term roadmap. This role will assist the QA team in building out the company suite of automation and component tests to ensure that product releases are of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
- Automation Testing: Building robust end to end automation tests in Cypress executing within a CI/CD pipeline.
- Component Testing: Building component tests using the company's preferred framework.
- Testing: When deemed necessary by the QA lead, assist with manual and regression testing supporting product releases.
- Lifecycle: Participating in the entire SDLC, code reviews, defect reports through to test reports and release management
- Key performance indicators (FY25):
- Delivering high-quality end to end automation tests.
- Working with engineering teams to ensure pass rates meet or exceed 98%.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 2+ years of experience in automation testing in Cypress or a similar framework in a large-scale project.
- Solid understanding of web-based technologies.
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with GIT and associated developer tooling such as Azure Devops.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
