Job Description

Leading a global team for WiFi IoT and BLE integrated circuits validation and system integration. PSV and system integration are the process of testing, optimizing, and verifying the functionality and performance of a semiconductor device after it has been manufactured. It involves deep understanding of the design, running various tests and correlation with simulations to ensure that IC meets the desired specifications and performs as expected for a standalone product and final application.

The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of semiconductor devices, working closely with design and system teams. It helps identify and rectify any design or manufacturing issues, thereby minimizing the risk of costly recalls or failures in the field.

Group activity requires wide span of multidisciplinary knowledge: RF, Analog, Mixed-signal, and digital communication.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and ramping global PSV and system integration teams.
  • Technical lead for IC design within the different disciplines.
  • Technical lead for WiFi IoT and BLE regulatory withing the group.
  • Defining and adjusting common working flows for efficient IC validation and system integration.
  • Work with HW platform, RF, Analog, and digital design teams to develop full IC functionality bring up and validation test plans.  
  • Prepare for IC bring up through pre-work on IC architecture, operational flows, and FPGA.   
  • Work with software teams to plan SW roadmap bring up.  
  • Triage and debug failures on Silicon.  
  • Develop test contents and testing strategies to assist validation of the IC.  
  • Work with design teams to reproduce and isolate silicon fails. 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • At least 5 years of silicon industry experience, and a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role overseeing system integration or validation teams. Preferable experience from a big high tech corporate
  • Strong technical background in WiFi (802.11 standards) and Bluetooth technologies, including experience with RF system design, integration, testing methodologies, and tools.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building effective teams and managing complex integration projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and clearly present complex technical information.
  • Knowledge of industry regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to WiFi and Bluetooth systems.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of RF and Analog architecture.
  • PSV and system integration hands-on experience.
  • Experience in Silicon bring up and validation of RFIC features. 
  • Experience in Test development for validation of monolithic IC features: RF, Power, mix-signal, digital interfaces.
  • Experience working in global and cross-cultural teams.
