Job Summary
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of Nextech’s data infrastructure and enterprise data platform. This role will focus on building and optimizing scalable, cloud-based data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and AI-driven initiatives.
The ideal candidate has experience in data architecture, data lakes, and enterprise data platforms and can work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-performance, secure, and compliant data solutions. This role requires strong technical understanding and the ability to align data infrastructure capabilities with business needs.
Essential Functions
- Essential Functions: In addition to working in accordance with appropriate conduct and behavioral standards, specific responsibilities of this role include:
- Collaborate with VP of Product and Engineering to define and execute the product strategy for Nextech’s data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Work closely with engineering, data architects, and infrastructure teams to develop and enhance data pipelines, storage solutions, and processing frameworks.
- Prioritize data integration, accessibility, and performance enhancements to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
- Partner with data engineering teams to ensure best practices in data modeling, data ingestion, and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across reporting, analytics, and AI teams to align infrastructure investments with business priorities.
- Evaluate and recommend data technologies, governance tools, and architectural improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
- Act as a liaison between technical and business teams, translating data infrastructure needs into product requirements.
- Communicate roadmap updates, technical priorities, and trade-offs to executive leadership and engineering teams.
- Develop clear documentation and technical specifications for data infrastructure capabilities.

Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience ideally focused on data platforms, infrastructure, or cloud-based data solutions.
- Experience working with large-scale data systems, data lake architectures, and distributed data processing.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and scalable data storage solutions.
- Ability to engage with engineering teams and data architects to make informed technical decisions.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define and track key infrastructure performance metrics.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise-scale data platforms, data governance, and data security best practices.
- Familiarity with modern data lake and warehouse architecture.
- Knowledge of data observability and performance monitoring tools.
