Job Summary
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of Nextech’s data infrastructure and enterprise data platform. This role will focus on building and optimizing scalable, cloud-based data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and AI-driven initiatives.

The ideal candidate has experience in data architecture, data lakes, and enterprise data platforms and can work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-performance, secure, and compliant data solutions. This role requires strong technical understanding and the ability to align data infrastructure capabilities with business needs.

Essential Functions

    • Essential Functions: In addition to working in accordance with appropriate conduct and behavioral standards, specific responsibilities of this role include:
    • Data Platform Strategy & Execution
    • Collaborate with VP of Product and Engineering to define and execute the product strategy for Nextech’s data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
    • Work closely with engineering, data architects, and infrastructure teams to develop and enhance data pipelines, storage solutions, and processing frameworks.
    • Prioritize data integration, accessibility, and performance enhancements to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
    • Collaboration & Technical Leadership
    • Partner with data engineering teams to ensure best practices in data modeling, data ingestion, and ETL/ELT workflows.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across reporting, analytics, and AI teams to align infrastructure investments with business priorities.
    • Evaluate and recommend data technologies, governance tools, and architectural improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
    • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
    • Act as a liaison between technical and business teams, translating data infrastructure needs into product requirements.
    • Communicate roadmap updates, technical priorities, and trade-offs to executive leadership and engineering teams.
    • Develop clear documentation and technical specifications for data infrastructure capabilities.

Minimum Requirements

    • 5+ years of product management experience ideally focused on data platforms, infrastructure, or cloud-based data solutions.
    • Experience working with large-scale data systems, data lake architectures, and distributed data processing.
    • Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and scalable data storage solutions.
    • Ability to engage with engineering teams and data architects to make informed technical decisions.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define and track key infrastructure performance metrics.
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with enterprise-scale data platforms, data governance, and data security best practices.
    • Familiarity with modern data lake and warehouse architecture.
    • Knowledge of data observability and performance monitoring tools.
