About the role

This Product Design Manager will play a key role in shaping the user experience in the Fintech & Earnings domain of our products. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is strategic, driven, and wants to have a big impact. As manager/doer, you will lead a small team of talented designers to influence and execute our product roadmap through design thinking, elevate the quality of our product experiences, as well as explore future opportunities to further enhance our offerings. You will hold yourself, and your team, accountable to the highest standards of the craft, to deliver data and research informed experiences that drive impact for our users and the business. You will collaborate with your cross-functional partners to drive awareness and prioritize initiatives to improve the user experience measurably. You will leverage design thinking to contribute to the product strategy and vision discussion to help drive alignment through the work that you and your team deliver. We are looking for a strategic thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity, who can guide their team through complexity, and can clearly translate strategies into beautiful designs that meet our user needs and drive business impact. What you’ll be working on

    • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to your team to effectively collaborate with their cross-functional partners, and deliver high-quality work through holistic end-2-end thinking across our products & platforms
    • Manage designers, their priorities, their career development, and processes to help them reach their potential, streamline their processes, and deliver their best workBuild strong partnerships with your cross-functional peers to determine and prioritize new features and enhancements, as well as guide effective product strategies, critical to the success of our customers and the business
    • Advocate for user-centered design practices and ensure the delivery of high quality intuitive products
    • Leverage research, data analytics, competitive analyses, and customer research to proactively inform the product roadmap and build strong perspectives that guide your team towards making effective and impactful decisions that meets our customers needs
    • As a manager/doer, you will step in at times to support your team by leading workshops, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and delivering final design solutions
    • Contribute to raising the design quality bar at the Super.com by collaborating with your Product Design, Product, and engineering partners
    • Contribute to the growth of the Super.com design system, enhance design team efficiencies, and ensure consistency with brand guidelines
    • Build consensus and alignment amongst conflicting data and viewpoints to deliver impactful design, and guide stakeholders to the most efficient use of their time for you and your team’s objectives

Who we’re looking for

    • 7+ years of Product Design experience, working closely with product and engineering partners
    • 2+ years of leadership experience effectively managing product designers and supporting their career development
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating critical thinking skills, data-informed decisions, high-level of craft, leading projects from conception to completion, and showcasing measurable business impact
    • Experience in B2C products with high-engagement touchpoints, especially on mobile
    • Effective stakeholder management, with strong communication and presentation skills
    • Experience working on “0-1” consumer products in fast-paced, changing environments, delivering high quality designs within rapid iteration cycles
    • Experience informing and driving design decisions by leveraging user research and quantitative data

Bonus points for

    • Fintech experience
    • Experience managing user research team
    • Familiarity with data gathering and analysis tools, specifically Amplitude

    • The salary range for this role is $12,345.00 - $23,450.00

$135,000 - $188,000 a year
As part of our compensation philosophy at Super.com we partner with a third party to benchmark roles based on geographic location. For US applicants, you will be informed of which Tier applies to you in the initial call with our Talent Team.

Tier 2 $135,000 - $188,000 USD
Tier 3 $123,000 - $180,000 USD
