Planning Researcher (Remote)
Description
We are looking for a Town Planning Researcher who will work closely with the Planning & Acquisition Team. The role will be responsible for the drafting of Town Planning drawings using AutoCAD, and the preparation of other relevant Planning Documents for Planning Applications in the UK.
To be successful in this position, you should have solid experience in 2D Drafting, 3D Modelling, and Document preparation. He/she will demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and have the eagerness to learn. Also, a thorough understanding of Urban/ Town Planning & Architectural design principles is preferred.
Skillset:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup. Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Required
- Familiar with Google Drive.
- Experienced using Rendering Software (Lumion, Vray, etc).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Preparation of Architectural and Urban/Town Planning Drawings & Documents
- Design Conceptualization using 3D Modelling
- To do research and prepare relevant planning reports.
- Other ad hoc duties under Planning.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications:- BS Degree in Architecture, Urban/ Town Planning, or a related technical field- Licensed Architect would be an advantage- With at least 5 years of Experience as Town Planning Designer- Ability to do research and prepare relevant planning reports- Ability to write and speak in English- Familiarity with UK building codes and regulation is an advantage, but not required
