You will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and secure network performance. - Assist in the design and implementation of network infrastructures tailored to client specifications.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal connectivity and uptime.
- Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Participate in network upgrade projects and migrations, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement network security measures.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain accurate records.
- Provide tier 3 support for network-related issues, escalating to senior engineers when necessary.
- Stay updated on emerging network technologies, protocols, and trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, routing protocols, and VLANs.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with network hardware and software, including Cisco and Juniper products.
- Basic knowledge of network security practices and technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud networking technologies is a plus.
