Call Center Representative – Medicaid Member Outreach

We're on a mission to prevent food allergies before they start. Our clinically-backed, evidence-based system helps families introduce common allergens to babies easily and safely. We work with health plans, pediatricians, and public health programs to ensure equitable access—especially for Medicaid families.
Position Overview:
We're looking for a motivated and friendly Call Center Representative to join our outreach team. You’ll be responsible for calling up to 200 Medicaid members per day in Kentucky to share information about our program and help families enroll. This role is essential to our mission of increasing access to food allergy prevention across the state.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make up to 200 outbound calls per day to Medicaid families in Kentucky
- Introduce the program, explain benefits, and answer common questions
- Assist families in understanding eligibility and how to enroll
- Log call outcomes and family information accurately in our CRM system
- Share insights and feedback with the internal team to improve outreach efforts
- Maintain a friendly, respectful, and culturally sensitive tone in every conversation
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent spoken and written English; able to communicate clearly and confidently
- Experience in customer service, healthcare outreach, or call center roles—especially Medicaid or public health-related—is preferred
- Comfortable with high-volume calling and meeting daily outreach targets
- Tech-savvy and detail-oriented—able to manage records and calls efficiently
- Compassionate, driven, and mission-aligned
Bonus Points If You:
Are bilingual in English and Spanish
Requirements:
- Comfortable using time tracker tools like Time Doctor
- Highly motivated and organized
- Fluent in English - excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient on a computer and in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- High-quality noise-canceling headset
- High-speed internet (50+ Mbps) with backup internet
- High-speed computer with a working webcam also must have a backup computer
- A quiet working environment free of outside noise (cars, animals, others working)
