knownwell is seeking a Manager of Launch Operations & Facilities to oversee the opening of new clinic locations and manage the day-to-day facility needs across our growing network. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage timelines, budgets, and vendor agreements—ensuring safe, functional spacesthat support our unique model of care. Location: Remote 

Responsibilities:

    • Manage New Clinic Launches 
    • Coordinate work among external partners (architects, contractors, landlords) and internal teams to prepare new outpatient clinic sites for opening. 
    • Track task progress against timelines, ensure requirements are met, and escalate risks or issues as needed. 
    • Collaborate across internal teams, aligning operational goals and timelines for both new launches and ongoing facility needs. 

    • Vendor Sourcing & Coordination 
    • Qualify potential vendors and service providers, obtaining and reviewing proposals to assess cost-effectiveness and quality. 
    • Oversee day-to-day vendor relationships, monitor service levels, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. 

    • Facilities Management 
    • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for facility-related issues, including repairs, maintenance, and improvements. 
    • Coordinate with technicians, property managers, and external vendors to resolve issues quickly and maintain a safe, functional environment. 

    • Budget & Resource Management 
    • Track and manage vendor agreements, invoices, change orders, and close-out documentation for all facilities and launch-related projects. 
    • Track expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets and highlight opportunities for cost savings. 

    • Support for Real Estate & Construction 
    • Provide assistance with real estate and construction workflows, such as preparing lease abstracts, coordinating insurance coverage, and maintaining documentation for tenant improvements. 
    • Engage in these projects as a development opportunity to expand knowledge and offer surge support as needed. 

Qualifications:

    • Operational or Project Management Experience: Exposure to vendor coordination, facilities oversight, or project planning, with the ability to leverage multiple technology platforms to efficiently manage tasks across several projects and locations. 
    • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and adept at juggling various tasks, timelines, and projects while maintaining high-quality standards. 
    • Healthcare Background: Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting – such as operations, clinic management, support, or facilities. 
    • Problem-Solving Mindset: Resourceful in identifying issues early, proposing actionable solutions, and facilitating process improvements. 
    • Service Orientation: Demonstrated commitment to providing responsive, solutions-focused support that fosters positive relationships and stakeholder satisfaction. 
    • Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners. 
    • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to a week at a time, multiple times per year, for on-site coordination of new clinic launches, vendor meetings, and facility assessments. 
    • Education: A degree in business, facilities management, construction management, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory, especially if you possess equivalent hands-on experience. 
    • Eagerness to Learn & Grow: Desire to expand into new areas (e.g., real estate, construction) coupled with a proactive mindset that embraces challenges and continuous improvement. 

    • Note: We recognize that great talent comes in many forms. If you’re passionate about operational excellence and facilities management but have fewer years of hands-on experience, we encourage you to apply. We may hire at a Coordinator level, with the possibility of transitioning to Manager as you grow within the role. 
$70,000 - $85,000 a year
