Job Description
The Manager, Access & Affordability Solutions will be responsible for strategic and tactical management of the copay programs within AbbVie's portfolio. They will drive innovative solutions in response to payer market dynamics in an evolving competitive, regulatory, and compliance landscape. This role will be central to the execution of patient access and support programs. In addition to being an important member of the Copay Center of Excellence, key collaborating partners will be Patient Services, Marketing, Operations, Field Teams, and supporting vendor(s). The position requires a highly motivated individual that can work cross-functionally to accomplish agreed upon objectives.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Operational management of all aspects of designated Copay Programs
- Management of multiple program vendors to ensure operational effectiveness
- Strategic design and implementation of innovative solutions and business rules updates in response to aggressive market dynamics
- Partner with analytics team to ensure detailed and timely performance reports
- Work closely with all patient services team members to ensure operational alignment
- Manage budgets for copay programs as assigned
- Track and resolve all patient escalations
- Work cross functionally with internal departments to ensure alignment with strategic vision along with Compliance/Legal requirements
Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Foundational knowledge of the US access and reimbursement environment and detailed knowledge of copay card operations
- Experience working with and managing large tactical programs involving multiple external partners
- Operational experience working on customer service programs
- Strong communication, presentation and inter-personal skills
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
