The Opportunity 

We are seeking a highly motivated Manager of Corporate Security & Intelligence to lead and oversee all aspects of threat intelligence, executive protection, public event security, incident management, crisis response, corporate office security assessments, threat intelligence and vendor management. This role is strategic and operational, ensuring the safety of executives, employees, and corporate assets while managing third-party security vendors responsible for logistics and resource deployment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in physical security risk management, corporate security operations, executive protection, and vendor oversight in a high-risk, fast-paced public safety technology environment 

This role is ideally suited for individuals with a background in military, law enforcement (USSS) or intelligence officer background.

What you will be doing

  • Executive Protection & High-Risk Travel Security

  • Develop and implement executive security strategies for Global C-suite executives.

  • Analyze threat assessments and risk analysis for executive travel, both domestic and international.

  • Manage vendor-provided protective security services, including close protection and secure transportation.

  • Ensure security protocols align with current threat intelligence and geopolitical risks impacting executive travel.

  • Public Event Security & Risk Mitigation

  • Oversee security planning and risk assessment for corporate events, industry conferences, and public engagements.

  • Coordinate with security vendors to deploy protective measures, crowd management, and access control at high-profile events.

  • Ensure security plans comply with local regulations, venue security policies, and emergency preparedness protocols.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the security vendor, law enforcement agencies, and event organizers (internal & external).

  • Incident Management & Crisis Response

  • Develop and manage incident response protocols for security threats, including workplace violence/active shooter incidents, cyber-physical threats, natural disasters, etc.

  • Serve as the Incident Commander in emergency situations, coordinating with internal stakeholders, security vendors, government agencies and law enforcement.

  • Ensure real-time incident reporting, investigation, and resolution, leveraging vendor resources for immediate response.

  • Conduct post-incident analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance future security measures.

  • Investigate site security incidents and provide detailed reports.

  • Physical Security Risk Assessments & Corporate Office Security

  • Coordinate with security vendors for physical security assessments of corporate offices, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation threat strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with security best practices, access control policies, and emergency evacuation procedures.

  • Oversee security technology implementation, including surveillance systems, intrusion detection, access control integration and training aligned with our global policy, with local threat considerations.

  • Coordinate with building management, law enforcement, and emergency responders to maintain a secure corporate environment.

  • Vendor Management & Security Liaison

  • Act as the primary point of contact for third-party security vendors, ensuring quality, security needs and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

  • Manage contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and compliance audits for vendor-provided security services.

  • Collaborate with the vendor to optimize resource allocation, ensuring efficient deployment of security personnel, technology, logistics and continuous vetting.

  • Maintain strong relationships with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and global security partners to enhance security posture.

The Skillset 

  • Experienced in corporate security, executive protection, physical security risk management, or a related field.

  • Military, law enforcement (USSS) or intelligence officer background preferred.

  • Proven experience and strong knowledge of physical security technologies, access control systems, surveillance solutions, and emergency response protocols.

  • Experience in incident management, crisis response, and business continuity planning.

  • Proven ability to manage security vendors and ensure operational compliance.

  • Ability to work under high-pressure conditions, make critical decisions, and respond to emerging threats in real-time.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem solving skills, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working internationally.

The First 30 Days

  • Executive Protection & High-Risk Travel Security

    • Review and assess current executive security strategies and protocols for global C-suite executives.

  • Public Event Security & Risk Mitigation

    • Identify upcoming corporate events, conferences, and public engagements requiring security planning.

  • Incident Management & Crisis Response

    • Review existing incident response protocols for security threats, workplace violence, cyber-physical threats, and natural disasters.

  • Physical Security Risk Assessments & Corporate Office Security

    • Conduct site visits to corporate offices to assess security measures, access control, and vulnerabilities.

The First 60 Days 

  • Executive Protection & High-Risk Travel Security

    • Develop a comprehensive executive protection strategy incorporating insights from initial assessments.

  • Public Event Security & Risk Mitigation

    • Standardize event security risk assessment processes.

  • Incident Management & Crisis Response

    • Implement real-time threat monitoring systems and improve emergency alerting mechanisms.

  • Physical Security Risk Assessments & Corporate Office Security

    • Address and implement mitigation strategies for identified security gaps.

90 Days & Beyond 

  • Executive Protection & High-Risk Travel Security

    • Establish an ongoing executive travel security review process.

  • Public Event Security & Risk Mitigation

    • Roll out a standardized corporate event security framework for consistency across all engagements.

  • Incident Management & Crisis Response

    • Finalize and implement a company-wide crisis response framework.

  • Physical Security Risk Assessments & Corporate Office Security

    • Roll out an updated corporate physical security policy.

The Interview Process

  2. The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field. 

  3. The Technical Assessment: Our technical assessments seek to test the hard skills required to do the job. Engineers may find themselves in coding interviews or architecture discussions, sales roles may present mock discovery calls, and leadership roles may craft 90 day plans. Your recruiter will inform you of which assessment you will be assigned and ensure you are fully prepared for your big day. 

  4. The Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners. 

  5. The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more. 

Salary & Equity

In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between $125,000 - 195,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
