Loan Partner – US Mortgage | Weekend Coverage (Friday to Tuesday)

Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Loan Coordinator to support our mortgage operations team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate documentation, smooth communication, and efficient loan processing. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
NOTE: Work schedule will fall on Friday to Tuesday
Key Responsibilities
- Download appraisals as they arrive, compile all required components (invoice, SSR, appraiser E&O, etc.), upload to the appropriate systems, and email a complete copy of the appraisal report to the team.
- Split title documents and upload them into designated folders, excluding documents providing property tax estimates (as these may not reflect accurate values for new construction loans).
- Accurately tag files in the CRM system for proper tracking and documentation.
- Follow up on stale or inactive pre-approvals to ensure timely updates or closures.
- Facilitate and manage weekly pizza order emails (internal morale initiative).
- Send out Tuesday Updates to clients, agents, and internal team members to keep all parties informed on loan status.
- Process and manage borrower opt-outs from marketing or communication campaigns.
- Assist in preparing and sending loan disclosures as needed.
- Label and stack incoming documents correctly to maintain consistent file organization.
- Perform data verification to ensure all borrower and property information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Add appropriate tags and documentation to ensure compliance and completeness of each file.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience in mortgage or loan processing preferred.
- Strong organizational and file management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
- Proficient with digital file management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with mortgage CRMs and LOS platforms (preferred but not required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
