Job Description
he Legal Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing legal department workflows, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role focuses on managing legal processes, implementing legal technology solutions, streamlining legal operations, and enhancing overall legal department effectiveness.
 
Position Responsibilities:
Legal Operations & Process Management:
- Develop and optimize legal department processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement best practices for legal document management, tracking, and reporting.
- Standardize policies and procedures for handling legal matters within the organization.
- Manage and track expenses for the in-house legal channel optimizing cost efficiency

Technology & Data Management:
- Implement and manage legal technology solutions.
- Oversee legal data analytics and reporting to enhance decision-making.
- Maintain and optimize legal databases, ensuring proper document retention and security.

Team Management & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, People and Culture, and IT, to align legal processes with business goals.
- Supervise legal support staff and ensure training on legal operations best practices.
- Act as a liaison between legal and other business units to improve communication and workflow efficiency.

Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure the organization adheres to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
-Support internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.
 
 
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree  
- 5+ years of experience in legal operations, corporate legal departments, or compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of legal processes and compliance frameworks
- Experience with legal technology and analytics tools
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in legal collections and recoveries industry
