We are currently seeking a passionate and organized Learning Development Coordinator to join our Human Resources team.
Position Overview:
The Learning Development Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing our employee training and development programs. This position will involve designing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives that align with the organization’s goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen understanding of adult learning principles, and a commitment to promoting a culture of learning within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise the L&D practices, identifying trends and good practices in Training and Development areas with an active network on this area.
- Defining and driving the learning and development strategy and plan, following and assuring execution of the training programs in line with established policies and budgets. Manages training budget to maximize impact.
- Supporting and advising management and HR on the learning and professional development of the workforce, implementing and executing policies, processes, and training offerings. As well developing training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.
- Driving the identification of learning needs by analyzing company strategy, performance and competence data as well as through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or employees’ representatives.
- Designing and conducting training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance, engaging, advising, and guiding learners, maintaining relevant high-quality training resources and evaluating the achievement of intended learning outcomes.
- Assuring proper data, coordinating data management operations, delivers analysis of learning and development data and identifies trends to contribute to the creation of insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.
- The L&D coordinator measures, identifies areas of attention and presents the results of learning and development efforts. Sets up tools for follow-up of KPIs and assures data quality. Defines measures to address deviations.
- Identifies suppliers and works together with procurement in the selection and management of L&D providers, in order to ensure not only the achievement of the agreed service levels as well as to find cost efficient solutions.
- Works together with Senior Management and Head Office to define L&D Strategy and strategic competences for the future, as well as to promote continuous improvement on the current training program towards excellence.
- Integrates networks at a Global Level, working on International training projects and contributing on a constant exchange of best practices. Can also drive local projects or project streams on a local level.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field
- +3 years of experience in learning and development, training coordination, or a related role in a established global company.
- Experience in developing and executing training programs, academies and skill accelerators, including perspectives of different stakeholders and business needs.
- Preferably another additional HR job to assure a broader view
- English fluency is mandatory and a good level of French will be a plus.
- Strong understanding/ knowledge of technical, scientific or specialized fields needed for the role, understanding theoretical facts, principles and concepts, as well as their context.
- Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and foster a positive learning environment.
