Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack (Remote, North America)

Position Summary:
Our Full-Stack Engineers are responsible for turning product ideas into reality. You will collaborate with our CEO, CTO, Product Managers, and fellow engineers to architect, build, test, deliver, and refine the next generation of Vivun’s agentic products.
Key Responsibilities
- You will own end-to-end product experiences, iterating on features from data acquisition and transformation all the way through user interactions.
- You will develop multi-step, LLM-based workflows that incorporate structured logic, memory, and context from various data sources. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers on the nuances of agentic UX.
- You must be comfortable with ambiguity in a highly dynamic agentic/LLM development space, and be able to apply your daily learnings to deliver groundbreaking product features.
- You will be expected to deeply understand our customers’ needs and partner with internal stakeholders to craft and validate new product hypotheses.
- You will author contributions that can be safely and automatically promoted from development to production, in close partnership with quality assurance & site reliability engineers. Your services and applications must be production grade - instrumented with logging, tracing, and metrics to ensure they are diagnosable and continuously monitored.
Desired Skills and Experiences
- 6–10 years in a software engineering individual contributor role
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience
- Proven record of delivering large-scale, resilient enterprise applications
- AI development & LLM frameworks: Hands-on experience (or strong interest) in working with LLMs through prompt engineering, LangChain / LangGraph (or similar agentic libraries), integrating LLM-based reasoning, RAG, vector embeddings, and designing and implementing knowledge graphs
- Backend tech: Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, neo4j
- Frontend tech: TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS
- Responsive/adaptive design, deep understanding of HTTP, WebSockets & browser APIs
- AWS, Kubernetes, Skaffold, OpenTelemetry, CI/CD, Auth (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2.0)
- Web application and networking security (OWASP)

$188,000 - $210,000 a year
The anticipated base salary for this position is $188,000 - $210,000. This position is also eligible for equity. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
