At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid level QA (VR Game Development) to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative US-based project in a collaborative, fast-paced, and results-driven environment.
Position Overview:
As a Mid level QA (VR Game Development), you will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for VR applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability. You will conduct thorough testing of VR modules across various devices, identifying and documenting defects while ensuring timely resolution. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and product owners to understand project requirements and provide feedback on product functionality and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for VR applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Conduct thorough testing of VR modules across various devices, identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and product owners to understand project requirements and provide feedback on product functionality and user experience.
- Implement best practices for quality assurance in VR development, including automated testing frameworks and performance benchmarking.
- Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends in VR technology and quality assurance methodologies to enhance testing processes and outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must-have Skills:
- Experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on testing VR applications and devices.
- Proven experience with VR hardware, including Metaquest, Pico Neo, Oculus, HTC Vive, and other immersive technologies.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, including performance and usability testing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automated testing and familiarity with testing tools specific to VR applications.
- Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in educational game development or serious games.
