Japanese Language Educational Content Editor

Education Perfect is an EdTech platform designed to empower educators and amplify their impact in the classroom. We aim to enable teachers to personalise learning at scale with a range of powerful learning, assessment, and insights tools, helping them and their students reach their full potential.

About this role: 

EP is passionate about growing our library of quality, curriculum-aligned online learning experiences for students in New Zealand and Australia and several growing marketers worldwide. To this end, we seek language-specific Japanese contract-based Educational Content Editors. These roles are remote and can be based globally. 

The project will commence late October and continue until late November. We require a commitment of approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule. Employment will be contract-based and payment will be based on deliverable item. 

Languages Educational Content Editor key responsibilities include: 

• Editing/transforming content from a script to the EP Platform 
• Communicating with a cross-functional team to edit content and publish on our platform
• Meeting quality and effectiveness targets in all tasks
• Managing your project tasks and time via online tools and software.

Key requirements for the role include: 

• Relevant experience in editing, publishing or digital content creation
• Excellent written English, grammar and spelling
• Native-level proficiency in written Japanese, grammar and spelling
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently 
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Strong attention to detail is needed to meet our instructional design standards.

Desired but not required: 

• Experience teaching or tutoring the given language at a beginner level.
