Italian Language & Culture Subject Matter Experts - AP exam development
We are seeking World Languages Subject Matter Experts to develop authentic assessment items for AP exams in Italian. You will leverage your native proficiency in the respective language along with your expertise in educational assessment to author exam questions that adhere to AP standards and guidelines.
Project duration: 4-6 weeks

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality assessment items for AP exams in Italian.
- Ensure that assessment items are culturally relevant, linguistically accurate, and aligned with AP exam standards.
- Collaborate with the content development team to review and refine assessment items based on feedback and guidelines.
- Stay updated on developments in language education and assessment practices to continually improve the quality of assessment items.
Qualifications:
- Native proficiency in Italian.
- Fluent English for internal communication.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Language Education, Linguistics, Literature).
- Experience teaching or tutoring in the respective language, preferably for AP exams.
- Strong understanding of educational assessment principles and practices.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in both the target language and English.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with AP exam formats and standards is a plus.
